Mirage
The blade core on this knife is EN45 medium carbon spring steel laminated with 431 stainless outer layers. Blade length is 145mm, 6mm thick on the spine and the overall length of the knife is 275mm. The bolsters are carbon steel, gun blued and are dove tailed to match the handle scales. The handle scales are desert ironwood with black fibre liners and are held to the tapered tang by two copper Corby bolts. The handle also has a copper thong tube. This commission came with two mahogany brown sheaths, one is a traditional double welted sheath with a stone pocket, the other is a wet formed leather pancake style sheath with Kydex rivets and a Tek-Lok belt clip to give a completely ambidextrous carry system.
