Japanese style folder
The blade for this friction style folding knife is made from eleven layers of wrought iron with a core of Hitachi white paper steel, blade length is 76mm, overall length of the knife open is 185mm. The spine of the blade has been filed to resemble bamboo. The handle is made from 2mm thick copper which has a patterned surface and has been aged by applying liver of sulphur to the surface. it's spine has also been filed to carry on the bamboo theme from the blade. The sheath is a simple leather double welted style which has been dyed black.
