This hunting/camping knife has a blade made from W-1 high carbon tool steel. The blade has had clay applied before hardening to bring out a beautiful Hamon in the steel. The blade length is around 140mm, blade thickness on the spine is just over 5mm and the overall length of the knife including its finial nut on the handle is around 260mm. The carbon steel single branch handguard, butt cap and finial nut have all been gun blued. The carbon steel butt cap on the handle has been filed to match the flutes on the Sambar stag antler handle and the Sambar stag has been dyed a lovely dark tobacco brown to give the knife an aged look. The sheath for this knife is a faux crocodile leather double welted style, dyed black with one Sam brown stud and a wrap around leather keeper strap.
